This is me.
I am a Graphic Designer, and I write this very much identifying with that as a person and as a practice.
In terms of interests in topics and areas of practice, I believe that design is fluid, it is everything and comes from everywhere. I can find inspiration through the most unexpected vessels, and I think that trying to define and constrict my context would limit my span and restrict me as a designer. However, I do believe that design is all about making, and solving. If there is design, it is there for a reason. If design is there, it is new. Innovative. And I am design. You know how some say, “you are what you eat”, I think that as designers “we are what we design”, and so this notion is very much self-reflective in the sense that I too am always trying and always pushing myself to learn and grow and better myself as a human being.
What is living if you are not growing and improving?

Besides the ability to use graphic design software as a Graphic Designer, I absolutely feel design, as though it were an itch longing to be scratched. And my mission is, essentially, to scratch it.
Despite being a creative myself and being very much integrated into the global creative community courtesy of the internet and social media, I choose not to put anyone’s work on a pedestal (arguably except my own). The reason for this is simple. We’re all in this together. I see no reason why I should base myself off other people’s work, when I am on my own creative journey. With seemingly limitless amounts of magic we could all make, why make knock-offs of someone else’s work when you can revel within your own mind and conjure up your own greatness?
