ONE DAY SEYOUM
ASSOCIATE ART DIRECTOR
VISUAL IDENTITY - SOCIAL MEDIA BRANDING - CONTENT STRATEGY
ODS/One Day Seyoum is a community-led human rights organisation fighting for the rights of Eritrean refugees and citizens.
During our four-month partnership, I successfully improved their social media engagement, increasing the opportunity for change through activism. This was done by managing their outlets and creating a content calendar tailored to the different campaigns they held, posting accordingly across all platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Each campaign was required to have a distinguished appearance for easy visual recognition. Thus, I developed a branding identity package for each.
Other deliverables included designing Instagram Story post covers, YouTube video thumbnails, and campaign video transcribing. During this time, I also built their website, which was a brand-new addition to their range of online platforms. The purpose of their site was to further inform people about ODS and introduce call to action for the petitions and events they were hosting. Advertising the debut issue of their magazine “2001” was also a crucial component I integrated into the site.
